Stochastic Sandbox is a blog, events hub, and learning resource directory focused on AI and machine learning. We respect your privacy and aim to collect as little data as possible. This policy explains what information, if any, is gathered when you visit this site.

Information We Collect

This site does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or client-side analytics beyond Vercel Analytics (see below). We do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or payment details.

Vercel Analytics

This site uses Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymized, aggregate page view data (page URL, referrer, country, device type, browser). It does not use cookies, does not track individual users across sessions, and does not collect personal information. See Vercel's analytics privacy policy.

Server Logs

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may automatically collect standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you visit. This data is used solely for operational purposes (e.g., diagnosing errors) and is not shared with third parties for marketing.

Third-Party Services

This site self-hosts all web fonts — no font requests are made to Google Fonts or any external font CDN. Google Analytics is used for aggregate traffic measurement (see above).

External Data Sources

Several sections of this site aggregate publicly available data from third-party sources:

• Events: Fetched from public Luma calendar feeds (ICS) and Gary's Guide. We display event titles, dates, locations, and links. No user data from these platforms is collected.
• Webinars: Fetched from public Luma calendar feeds, Anthropic's events page, Cohere's events page, Google Cloud On Air's public API, and Elastic's events page. We display webinar titles, dates, and registration links.
• Academy & Certifications: Curated directories of links to external course and certification providers. We do not collect any data from these providers — we only link to them.

When you click through to an external event, webinar, course, or certification, you leave this site and are subject to that provider's privacy policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to third parties. No personal information is collected to share.

External Links

This site links extensively to external websites including event platforms, course providers, certification bodies, research papers, and news sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
